 | PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND: I graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with a major in Psychology and minor in Communications. Following graduation, my work as a counselor at a residential treatment center for teens inspired me to pursue a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I moved to San Antonio, Texas and graduated from St Mary's University with a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals, couples, families and children in a variety of environments to include hospital, schools, residential treatment, foster care, community mental health and corporate settings. HOBBIES AND INTERESTS: I love endurance events! I am a Marathon runner and triathlete. I have competed in over 20 marathons and numerous triathlons from sprint distance up to Ironman, both 70.3 and 140.6. My passion for living an active and healthy lifestyle contributes to my holistic approach to treating problems and emphasis on overall physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. |
